Toxicology Consulting Ltd

Owing to an expansion and increase in workload, Toxicology Consulting Ltd is seeking toxicology experts, physicians, related clinicians, occupational hygienists and testing laboratories.

Much of the work that is coming is mainly from civil legal cases and occasionally criminal cases. As a small independent consultancy I have worked hard to try to connect the solicitors with the relevant expert, but often I am finding that the solicitors return to me as often they are unable to receive the guidance that they require.

Thus, I am looking to build a dependable network of experts in the field of toxicology to whom I can subcontract out this work on an ad hoc basis.

I am particularly interested in hearing from:

• Psychiatrists with an expertise in factitious disorders (especially factitious poisoning) and psychosomatic medicine.

• Forensic psychiatrists and physicians with an expertise in effects of alcohol in relation to criminal behaviour (assault, drink driving), the reliability of alcohol testing and influences of other medication and illicit psychotropic drugs upon blood alcohol levels.
  
  
• Physicians and psychiatrists with an expertise in illicit drug use and mandatory drug testing (occupational and prisons).

• Independent drug testing laboratories.

• Veterinarians with an expertise in animal poisoning, particularly large (farm) animals.

• Neurologists with an expertise in pesticide poisonings.

• Independent occupational health advisers.

• Occupational hygienists.

• Physicians with an expertise in gas poisonings (particularly methane and carbon monoxide).

• Pharmacological expert witnesses.

• Forensic toxicology services.
